Motor Veħides (TaJ':iff of Fares) (Amendment) Regulations, 1982

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (2) of section 81

of the Code of Polke Laws, the Minister of the Interior has made the

following regulations:-

l. These regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Tariff Citation.

of Fares) (AmendmenO Regulations, 1982, and shall be read and con-

strued as one with the Motor Vehic1es (Tariff of Fares) Regulations, L.N. 14 of 1982

1982, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

The General Provisions of the First Schedule to the principal Amends the

regulations shall be amended as follows:-

(a) in sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 5 thereof for the words the First

"during the period when the workmen's fares are operative" there Schedule to the

shall be substituted the words "during the working hours of the said principal

apprentices"; and

(b) for paragraph 9 thereof there shall be substituted the fol-

lowing new paragraph

"9. The fares which may be charged to passengers on

bus services operating Direct Services and Supplementary Ser-

vices shall be those specified in Part ID and Part IE respect-

ively.".

For Part IB, Part IC, Par t ID, Part IE, the Appendix, Part Il

and Part III of Table I in the First Schedule to the principal regulations

there shall be substituted respectively Patt IB, Part Ie. Part ID, Part IE,

the Appendix, Part II and Part III contained in the Schedule to these

regulations.
