Worker·Students (Salaries and Wages) Order, 1982

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (1) of section 40

of the Education Act, 1974, the Minister of Education has made the

fol1owing order:-

l. This order may be cited as the Worker·Students (Salaries and

Wages) Order, 1982.

(1) With effect from the first day of January, 1982, the

salaries Of wages payable to worker-students shall not be less than those

shown in the Schedule hereto.

(2) For the period 1st September, 1981 to 31st December,

1981, worker-students in the sixth year shall receive a month1y salary of

not less than f165.66,6.

Worker-students, other than those in Government employment

on the date of their entry into University, are also entit1ed to one-ha1f

of the bonus payable in accordance with section 22A of the Conditions

of Employment (Regulation) Act, 1952.
