Extended SkiU Training (Amendment) Scheme, 1982

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 13 of the Industrial

Training Act, 1952, the Minister of Labour and Social Services, after

consulting the Youth Advisory Committee, has made the fol1owing

scheme:--

This scheme may be cited as the Extended Skill Training

(Amendment) Scheme, 1982, and shall be read and construed as one

with the Extended Skill Training Scheme, 1981, hereinafter referred to

as "the principal scheme".

For sub-paragraph (a) of paragraph 3 of the principal scheme

there shall be substituted the following

"(a) he has completed a full course at a Trade School and

has passed with distinction or credit his final examinations; or".

The Schedule to the principal scheme shall be amended as

follows

(a) in item 1. "Mechanical Engineering f} nd A!1ied Trades",

for the words "Welder/burner, sheet metal worker, plumberl

marine plumber, general fitter, motor vehicle fitter (1ight vehic1es!

heavy plant)" there shall be substituted the words "Welder Iburner,

sheet meta 1 worker, plumber Imarine plumber, general fitter, motor

vehicle fitter (ljght vehicle!heavy planl), tool maker, die maker,

steelworker, avionic mechanic, airframe engine mechanic"; and

(b) immediately after item 6 there shal1 be added the follow-

ing new item

"7.

Upholstery".
