Overseas Parcel Post (Rates of Postage) Regulations, 1982

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the Post Office

Act, 1975, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Deve-

lopment, with the conCUlTence of the Minister of Finance, has made the

fol1owing regulations

l. These regulations may be cited as the Overseas Parcel Post

(Rates of Postage) Regulations, 1982, and shall come into force on the

9th day of August, 1982.

(1) The rates of postage for parcels to the countries shown

in the First Column of the Schedule hereto by the means of conveyance

shown in the Second Column thereof. shall be those shown in the Third

Column of that Schedule.

(2) The rates of postage to be charged for parcels to other

destinations, through the medium of any of the countries mentioned

in the First Column of the Schedule hereto shall be the rates charged

in the country of destination with an addition of such charges as shall

be payable to the transit country for onward transmission.

The Overseas Parcel Post (Rates of Postage) Regulations, 1978

are hereby revoked.
