FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION AND AUDIT ACT, 1962

General Financial (Amendment) Regulations, 1982

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (l) of section 4

of the Financial Administration and Audit Act, 1962, the Minister of

Finance has made the following regulations:-

These regulations may be cited as the General Financial

(Amendment) Regulations, 1982, and shall be read and construed as

L.N. 40 of 1966 one with the General Financial Regulations. 1966, bereinafter referred

to as "the principal regulations".

In the definition of "Secretary" in regulation 2 of the principal

regulations, the words "and Customs" shall be deleted.

Paragraph (4) of regulation 50 of the principal regulations shall

be amended as follows

(a) for the words "Higher Executive Officer" there shalI be

substituted the words "Administrative Assistant"; and

(b) the words "or of Senior Clerical Officer" sha11 be deleted.

In paragraph (1) of regulation 52 of the principal regulations.

for the words "Higher Executive Officer" there shall be substituted the

words "Administrative Assistant".

In regulation 92 of the principal regulations, for the words

"Higher Executive Officer" there shall be substituted the words

"Administrative Assistant".
