Telegrapħic and Telex Service Tariffs (Amendment) Regulations, 1982

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Telemalta

Corporation Act, 1975, the Board, with the approval of the Minister

of Parastatal and People's Investments, has made the following regula-

tions:-

(l) These regulations may be cited as the Telegraphic and

Telex Service Tariffs (Amendment) Regulations, 1982 and shall be read

and construed as one with the Telegraphic and Telex Service Tariffs

L.N. 67 of 1m Regulations, 1977, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall come into force on 1st July, 1982.

The Third Schedule to the principal regulations shall be

amended as follows:-

to the principal

(a) for paragraph 6 of Part I thereof there shall be substitut-

ed the following paragraph

"6. Telegrams to ships at sea

If the ship can be contacted by Malta-Radio, the charge

is 21 cents per word.

If the telegram is to be forwarded by a Maritime Coast

Station outside Malta, the charge will be 17 cents per word

plus the rate per word to the country of the Coast Station as

shown in this Part of this Schedule. "; and

(b) immediately after Par t n thereof there shall be added

the following new Part
