ELECfORAL (POLLING) ORDINANCE

Polling (Amendment) Regulations, 1981

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Electoral

(Polling) Ordinance, the President of Malta has made the following

regula tions:-

These regulations may be cited as the Polling (A mendment)

Regulations, 1981, and shall be read and construed as one with the

Pol1ing Regulations, 1939, hereinafter referred to as "the principal

regulations".

For paragraph (l ) of regulation l of the principal regulations

there shall be substituted the following

"(1)

The ballot-paper of each voter shall consist of a

paper in the form set out in Schedule (A) hereto, containing a list

of candidates described by the name (inc1uding any nickname),

address and profession or occupation as given in their respective

nomination paper and as approved by the Electoral Com­

missioners. ".
