Port Rates (Amendment) (No.2)

Regulations, 1981

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 42 of the Ports

Ordinance, 1962, the Minister of Development, Energy, Port and Tele

communications, with the concurrence of the Minister of .Fmance,

Customs and People's Financial Investments has made the following

regula tions:-

Reg. 1 Citation and commencernent. — Regulations, 1981 Open official source

( l ) These regulations may be cited as the Port Rates (Amend

ment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1981. and shaB be read and construed as

one with the Port Rates Regulations, 1969, hereinafter referred to as

"the principal regulations".

These regula tions shaB come into force on the l st August,

Reg. 2 Amends the First as Schedule to the principal reguJat ions. — Regulations, 1981 Open official source

The First Schedule to the principal regulations shall be amended

follows:-

(i) in Part I thereof, for the figures "1.50,0" and "1.37,0"

shown under columns 2 and 3 against item (c) there shall be sub-

stituted respectively the figures "1.62,5" and" 1.49,5";

(ii) in PaTt I thereof, for the figures "1.35,0" and" 1.20,0"

shown under colurnns 2 and 3 against item (m) there shall be sub

stituted respectively the figures "1.47,5" and" 1.32,5";

(iii) in Part 11 thereof, for the figures "1.50,0" and "1.37,0"

shown under columns 2 and 3 against Hem (c) there shall be sub

stituted respectively the figures "1.62,5" and "1.49,5"; and

(i v) in Par t II thereof, for the figures "1.35,0" and "1.20,0"

shown under columns 2 and 3 against item (m) there shalI be sub

stituted respectively the figures "1.47,5" and "1.32,5".

The Table in paragraph l of the Third Schedule to the principal

regulations shall be amended as follows

(i)

for the figures "1.92,9" and "80,4" shown under columns

2 and 3 against item (c) there shall be substituted respectively the

figures "2.05,4" and "92,9"; and

(ii) for the figures "1.65,0" and "74,0" shown under columns

2 and 3 against item (k) there shall be substituted respectively the

figures "1.77,5" and "86,5".

column 2 against item (a) in the Table of sub-paragraph (a) of para

graph l there shall be substituted the figure "47,5".
