WATER SUPPLY ORDINANCE (CAP. 36)

Water Supply (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations, 1981

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Water

Supply Ordinance, the Minister of Works and Sport, with the concur

rence of the Minister of Finance, Customs and People's Financial Invest

ments, has made the fol1owing regulations:-

These regulations may be cited as the Water Supply (Amend

ment) (No. 3) Regulations 1981, and shalI be read and construed as one

with the Water Supply Regulations, 1948, hereinafter referred to as

"the principal regulation�".

Immediately at the end of regulation 6A of the principal regula

tions there shall be inserted the following proviso

"Provided that premises built on plots of land acquired after

27th September, 1979 under the Home Ownership Scheme shall be

exempt from the payment of such contribution.".
