IN e x e r c i s e of the powers conferred by se c t i on 72 of the Medical

and Kindred Professions Ordinance, the Minister of Health and En

vironment, on the advice of the Nursing and Mi d w i fe ry Board, .has

ma de the f o l 1 o w i n g regulations:-

l. These regulations may be cited as the Training School for

Registered (General) Nurses (Amendment) Regu1ations, 1981, a n d shall

be r e a d and construed as one with the Training School for Registered

(G e ne r al) Nurses Regulations, 1971, h ere i n a f t e r referred to as "the prin

cipal r eg u l a ti on s ".

there s h a ll be substituted the following

"(2) A student nurse who fails in any paper or jn the practical

and oral test. of the Final Examination shall be allowed to sit

again for t ha t examination in any such paper or test provided she

p r o d u ce s evidence to the satisfaction of the Nursing an d Mid w if e ry

Board tha t she ha s un d e r g o n e f u rt h e r train i ng at a school for a

period of approximately six months immediately

prior

to

her

re-sitting for the said examination

Provided, however, t h at 110 student nurse may avai1 herself of

this concessiol1 at any time later thal1 three years from the date on

which s h e first sat for the said ex a min a tio n .".
