Pharmacy Bcard (Erasure of Names Procedure) (Amendment)

Rules, 1981

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 87 I of the Medical

and Kindred Professions Ordinance. the Pharmacy Board, with the

approva l of the Minister of Health and Environment. has made the

fo11owing rules:-

These rules may be cited as the Pharmacy Board (Ecasure of

Names Procedure) (Amendment) Rules. 1981, and sha11 be read and

construed as one with the Pharmacy Board <Erasure of Names Proce­

dure) Rules. 1969. hereinafter referred to as "the principal rules".

In sub-paragraph (a) of paragraph (1) of rule 4 of the principal

ru1es --

(a) the words "death Of hard labour for any term Of" sha11

be deleted. and

(b) for the words "in sectl0ns 212 to 223 of th� Criminal

Code" there shall be substituted the words "in sections 212 to 219

or in sections 221 to 223 of the Criminal Code".

In the English text of paragraph (2) of rule 7. for the words

"the Chairman of the Board, as the case may be" there sha11 be sub­

stituted the words "the Chairman or the Board, as the case may be".

In paragraph (l) of ru1e 9 of the principal rules, for the words

"Any member" there sha11 be substituted the words "Any member or

additional member".

In rule 16 of the principal rules. for the word "members"

wherever it occurs there sha11 be substituted in each case the words

"members or additional members".

In rule 21 of the principal rules, for the words "The members

of the Board" there sha11 be substituted the words "The members and

the additional members of the Board".
