IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 34 of the Excise

Duty (Crown Corks and Non-alcoholic Concentrates) Ordinance, 1961,

the Minister of Finance, Customs and People's Financial Investments has

made the following regulations:-

These regulations may be cited as the Crown Corks (Alcoholic

Beverages) (Amendment) Regulations, 1981, and shaH be read and con­

strued as one with the Crown Corks (A1coholic Beverages) Regulations,

1964, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

In regulation 3 of the principal regulations for the words

"Customs and Port Department" there shaH be substituted the words

"Customs Department".

For regulation 7 of the

principal regulations there shaH be

substituted the following

4. In paragraph (1) of regulation 8 of the principal regulations

for the words "one month" there shaH be substituted the words "three

months".

5. In regulation 10 of the principal regulations for the words

"ninety cents" there shaH be substituted the words "two pounds sixteen

cents".
