Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No. 2) Order, 1981

IN exercise of the powe�s conferred by section 12 of the Housing

.

AuthorIty Act, 1976, the PresIdent of Malta has made the following

order:-

This order may be cited as the Housing Authority (Transfer of

Assets) (No. 2) Order, ] 98 1 .

The property described in paragraph 4 of this order is hereby

specified for the purposes of section 12 of the Housing Authority Act '

1976.

The property specified in paragraph 2 of this order shall be

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the section

aforesaid with effect from the 12th J une, 1981.

The property referred to in paragraph 2 of this order is the

following, that is to say

(a)

An area of land forming part of the Ta' l-Iklin Govern­

ment Housing Estate, Birkirkara consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 128 to 141 having an area of approxi­

mate1y 4200 square metres bounded on the North-West and West

by Government property and on the East by a public street.

(b) The folIowing land forming part of the Birzebbugia

Government Housing Estate

(i) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 124 to 127 having an area of

approximately l 154 square metres bounded on the South and

West by Government property and on the East by property of

Mr Thomas Formosa;

(ii) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 128 to 136 having an area of

of approximately 2759 square metres bounded on the North­

East, North-West, South-East and South-West by Government

property.

(c) An area of land forming part of the St He1en's Bastion

Government Housing Estate, Cospicua consisting of the plots in

the said Estate known as Plots Nos. l to 16 having an area of

approximate]y 3861 square metres bounded on the South, East

and West by Government property.

(d) The following land forming part of the Zejtun Gat e

Government Housing Estate, Cospicua

(i) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. l to 4 having an area of approxi­

mately 829 square metres bounded on the North-West and

West by Government property and on the South-South-East

by a public street;

(iD An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 5 to 10 having an area of approxi­

mately 1481 square metres bounded on the North-West and

West by Government property and on the South-East by a

public street;

(iii)

An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Pl o t s Nos. II to 18 having an area of appro­

ximately 1902 square metres bounded on the North-West by

a public street and on the South-East and South-West by

Government property.

(e)

The following land forming part of the Fleur-de-Lys

Government Housing Estate, limits of Qormi

(i) An area of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estate k no w n a.s Plot No. 15 having an area of approximately

125 square metres bounded on the North by a public street,

on the East by property of Miss Rose Micallef and on the

West by property of Mr George Grech;

An area of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estate known as Plot No. 29 having an area of approximately

130.8 square metres bounded on the North by property of Mr

Carmelo Sultana, on the Sout,h

by property of Mr Ronald Azzopardi and on the West by

property of Mr Albert Pace.

(f) The following land f o r ming part of the Rinella Govern­

ment Housing Estate. Kalkara

(i)

An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 1 to 29 having an area of approxi­

mately 7071.2 9 5 square metres bOllnded on the North by a

public road, on the So u t h by G o v e rnm en t property and on

the South-West partly by a public road and partly by Govern­

ment property;

An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 37 to 47 h a v ing an area of appro­

ximately 2746 .245 square metres bounded on the North, South

and North-East by Government property and on the West by

a pub1ic road.

(g) The following land forming part of the Ta' Pennellu

An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 1 6 9 to 195 having an area of

approximately 6425 square metres bounded on the North,

South and North-West by Government property;

(ii) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 196 to 244 having an area of

approximately 14436 square metres bounded on the North,

East and South-East by Government property.

(h) An area of land forming part of the Government

Housing Estate, Mosta consisting of the p10ts in the said Estate

known as P10ts Nos. 1 6 to 23 having an area of approximately

1691 square metres bounded on the South and South-West by a

public street, on the South-East by property of Mr Salvino Cordina

and on the West by property of Mr Robert Lewis.

(i)

An area of land forming part of the Is-5għajtar Govern­

ment Housing Estate, Naxxar consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. l to 3 1 having an area of approxi­

mately 859 1.9 square metres bounded on the North-East. North­

West. South-East and South-West by Government property.
