PORT WORKERS ORDINANCE, 1962

(ORDINANCE NO. XIV OF 1962)

Port Workers (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1981

IN e x e rc i s e of the powers confelTed by scction 16 of the Port

Workers Ordinance, 1962, t h e Minister of Development, Energy, Port

and Telecomrnunications h a s made the following regulations:-

t. (\) These regulations m a y be cited 11S the Port Workers

(AmendmenO (No. 2) Regulations. 1981, and shaH be read and COll

strued 11S one with the Port Workers Regulations, 1966, hereinafter

refened to as the "principal regulations ".

(2) Paragraph (b) of regulation 2 of these regulations s h a ll

have effect from 1st J a nu a r y , 1981. whi1e regulation 3 shaH have effect

from 15th October, ] 977

2 . Regulalion 19 of the principal reguiations shall be amended as

follows:·--

for the figure "[5,000" in paragraph (1) thereof there shaH

(a)

be substitutecl the figure "f7,000"; and

in paragraph (4) thereof, for the figure "fA7" there shaH

(b)

be substituiec1 the figure "1:,57".
