THE JUDGES AND MAGISTRATES (SALARIES) ACT, 1962

(ACT NO. 11 OF 1962)

The Judges and Mag�strates (Revision of Salades) Order, 1981

IN exereise of the powers eonferred by seetion 2 and 3 of the Judges

and Magistrates (Salaries) Aet, 1962, hereinafter referred to as "the

Act", the Prime Minister has made the fol1owing order:-

This order may be eited as the Judges and Magistrates

(Revision of Salaries) Order, 1981, and shall be deemed to have eome

into effect on the 1st January, 1981.

There shall be paid in any year to the ho1ders of the offiees

speeified in the first eolumn of the Sehedule hereto, instead of the

salaries [)reseribed in sections 2 and 3 of the Aet, the annual salaries

respectively speeified opposite to eaeh sueh office in the seeond eolumn

of that Schedule.
