PUBLIC LOTTO ORDINANCE (CAP. 110)

Lotto (Amendment) Regula(gons, 1981

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of t.l-Ie Public

Lotto Ordinance, the Minister of Finance, Customs and People's Finan­

cial Investments has made the foUowing regulations:-

These regulations may be cited as the Lotto (AmendmentJ

Regulations, 1981, and shall be read and construed as one with the

Lotto Regulations, 1948, hereinafter referred to as "the plincipaJ

regulations".

For the words "eighty-five thousand pounds (f85,000)" in

paragraph (1) of regulation 5 of the principal regulations and for the

figure "f85,000" in the proviso to the said paragraph, there shall be

substituted respectively the words "one hundred thousand pounds

(fl00,000)" and the figure "fI00,000".
