PUBLIC LIBRARIES ORDINANCE (CAP. 142)

Malta Public Library (Amendment) ReguJations, 1981

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Public

Libraries Ordinance, the Minister of Education has made the following

regulations

(1) These regulations may be cited as the Malta Public

Library (Amendment) Regulations, 1981. and shall be read and con­

strued as one with the Malta Public Library Regulations. 1974, here­

inafter referred to a8 "the principal regulations".

(2)

These

regulations shall come into force on the

16th

February, 1981.

For paragraph (l) of regulation 4 of the principal regulations

there shall be substituted the following

The library shall be open to the public as follows

"(I)

From the 1st October of any year to the 15th June

(A)

of the next following year

}

Monday, Tuesday,

from 9.00 a.m. to 5.45 p.m.

Thursday, Friday

from 9.00 a.m. to 1.15 p.m.

Saturday

From the 16th June to the 30th September of any

(B)

year

Monday, Tuesday,

Thursday, Friday,

from 9.00 a.m. to 1.15 p.m.".

Saturday
