C�Hdren's Allowances (Amendment) Regulations, 1981

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 87 of the Nation­

al Insurance Act, 1956, the Minister of Labour, Welfare and Culture

has made the fo1Jowing regulations:-

(1)

These regulations may be cited as the Children's Allow­

ances (Arnendment) Regulations, 1981, and shaH be read and con­

strued as one with the Children's Allowances Regulations,

1975,

hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shaH be deemed to have come into

force on the 29th day of September, 1981.

(2) Dawn irhregolamenti għandhom jitqiesu li bdew iseħħu

fid-29 ta' Settembru, 1981.

In regulation 4- of the principal regulations, for the words

"for a period of 12 months" wherever they occur, there sha11 be

su bstituted in each case the words "for a period of three months".

In paragra:oh (b) of regulation 7 of the principal regulations,

for the words "during the Iast 12 rnonths" there shall be substituted

the words "during the la st three months".
