Overseas Po§ta! (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations, 1981

IN exercise of the powers eonferred by seetion 11 of the Post Office

Act, 1975, the Minister of Development, Energy, Port and Teleeommu­

nications, with the eoncurrenee of the Minister of Finance, Customs and

People's Financial Investments, has made the following regulations:-

(1) These regulations may be cited as the Overseas Posta]

(Amendment) (N o. 3) Regulations, 1981, and shall be read and con­

strued as one with the Overseas Postal Regulations, 1924, hereinafter

referred to as "the principal regulations".

(2) These

For regulation 62 of the principal regulations there shall be sub­

stituted the following

"Certificate of Posting

62. The sender of an unregistered posta! artic1e other than a parcel

who posts such artic1e by presentation on the counter, may obtain a cer­

tificate of posting thereof upon filling the form provided for the purpose

and affixing there on a postage stamp of le.".
