IDENTITY CARD ACT, 1975

(ACT NO. LI OF 1975)

Notice of Termination of Validity

BY virtue of the powers conferred upon him by section 6 o f the

Identity Card Act, 1975, the Prime Minister has directed that all identity

cards issued before 1st July, 1981 in respect of persons who on 1st Sep

tember, 1981 were over the age of eighteen years shall cease to be valid

on the 22nd October, 1981.
