Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No. 4) Order, 1981

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 2 of the Housing

Authority Act, 1976, the President of Malta has made the following

order:-

This order may be cited as the Housing Authority (Transfer of

Assets) (No.4) Order, 1981.

T he property described in paragraph 4 of this order is hereby

specified for the purpos��s of section 12 of the Housing Authority Act,

197 6.

The property specified in paragraph 2 of this order shall be

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the section

aforesaid with effect from the 20th day of October, 1981 .

The property referred to in paragraph 2 of this order is the

following, that is to say

(a) An area of land forming part of the Ta' l-Iklin Govern­

ment Housing Estate, Birkirkara, consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 119 and 120 having an area of approxi­

mate1y 1064 square metres bounded on the South, East and West

by Government property.

(b) An area of land forming part of the Il-Qasam tal-Warda

Government Housing Estate, Qrendi, consisting of the plots in the

said Estate known as Plots Nos. l to 83 having an area of approxi­

mately 25,1 3 6 square metres bounded on the North, North-West

and North-East by public roads and on the South-East, South-West

and East by Government property.

(c) The fol1owing land forming part of the Ta' Kirċippu

Government Housing Estate, Siġġiewi:-

(i) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 1 to 7, 20 to 28 and 32 to 34 having

an area of approximately 6455 square metres bounded on the

North. South, East and West by Government property;

(ii) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 6 7 to 75 having an area of approxi­

mately 2469 square metres bounded on the North-East, South

and East by Government property.

(d) An area of land forming part of the Tagok Government

Housing Estate, Xewkija, Gozo, consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 1 to 81 having an area of approximate1y

19,586 square metres bounded on the North part1y by a public

road and partly by property of Pinu Bugeja and others, on the

South partly by Government property and part1y by property of

fami1y Cauchi and on the Bast by Government property.

(e) House numbered 2, Olaf Gollcher Street, Ta' Paris

Government Housing Estate, Birkirkara.

House numbered 22, Market Street, Floriana.
