Maximum Pensionable Income Order. 1981

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the National

Insura n c e Act, 1956, the Minister of Labour, Welfare and Culture, with

the concurreuce of the Minister of Finance, Customs and People's

Financial Investments, ha s made the following order

l. This o r d e r may be cited at the Maximum Pensionable Income

Order, 198J, and shall have effect as from the 3rd January, 1981.

For the pu r p o s es of the third proviso to the definition of "pen­

sionable income" in subsection (1) of section 2 of the National Insur­

ance Act, 1956, and for all other purposes of the said Act, the pension­

able income shall in no case e x c ee d six thousand seven hundred and

fifty pounds ([6,750) per annum.

The 1I;Jaximun1 Pensionable Jncome Order, 1980 is hereby re­

voked.
