Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) Order, 1981

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Housing

Authority Act, 1976, the President of Malta has made the following

order:-

l. This order may be cited as the Housing Authority (Transfer of

Assets) Order, 1981.

The property described in paragraph 4 of this order is hereby

specified for the purposes of section 12 of the Housing Authority Act,

1976.

The property specified in paragraph 2 of this order shall be

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the section

aforesaid with effect from the 20th January, 1981.

The property referred to in paragraph 2 of this order is the

following that is to say

(a) An area of land forming part of the L-Iklin, Govemment

Housing Estate, Birkirkara consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 71 to 94 having an area of approxi­

mately 5742 square metres bounded on the North, South and East

by Govemment property;

(b) The following land forming part of the Birzebbugia

Govemment Housing Estate

(i) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. I to 5 and 32 to 35 having an

area of approximately 2481 square metres bounded on the

North, South-West and South by Govemment property;

(ii) An area of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estate known as Plot No. 13 having an area of approximately

460 square metres bounded on the South, East and North by

Govemment property.

(c) The following land forming

(i) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 29 to 37 having an area of approx­

imately 3264 square metres bounded on the North, South and

West by Govemment property;

(ii) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 38 to 45 having an area approx­

imately 2812 square metres bounded on the North, West and

South-East by Government property;

(iii) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 46 to 67 and 77 to 81 having an

area of approximately 7923 square metres bounded on the

Bast, West and South-East by Government property.

(d) An area of land forming part of the Mqabba Govemment

Housing Estate consisting of the plots in the said Estate known as

Plots Nos. 29 to 33 having an area of approximately 1093 square

metres bounded on the South-West and North-East by Government

property and on the West by an unnamed public street.

(e) The following land forming part of the San Gwann Go­

vernment Ho u sing Estate

(i)

An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 175 and 176 having an area of

approx i mate l y 327 square metres bounded on the North-West

by a public street, on the North-East partly by a public street

and partly by property of Mr Anthony Sammut and on the

South-West partly by property of Mr David Caruana and

partly by property of Mr Emmanuel Grech;

(ii)

An area of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estate known as Plot No. 179 having an area of approximately

156 square metres bounded on the North by property of Mr

Anthony Bajada, on the South by property of Mr Anthony

Camilleri and on the East by a public street;

(iii)

An are a of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estate known as Plot No. 181 having an area of approximately

156 square metres bounded on the North by property of Mr

Joseph Colombo. on the South by property of Mr Anthony

Bajada and on the East by a public street.

200 square metres bounded on the North-West partly by a

public street and partly by property of Mr Joseph Bilocca, on

the South-East partly by a public street and partly by pro­

perty of Mr Anton Camilleri and on the South-West by a

public street;

An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 50 to 54 having an area of

approximately 1150 square metres bounded on the North-West

and North-East by two public streets, and on the South-West

partly by a public street, partly by property of Mr Joseph

Carabott, partly by property of Mr Joseph Bilocca and partly

by Government property;

321 square metres bounded on the North-West by a public

(i) An area of land fonning part of the Għajnsielem Govem­

6674 square metres bounded on the South by Government property.

and on the East and West by property of the Housing

Authority;

ESlate known as Plot No. 35 having an area of approximately

199 square metres bounded on the North by a public street, on

the South by Government property and on the East by property

of the Housing Authority;

approximately 369 square metres bounded on the North and

East by property of the Housing Authority and on the West

184 square metres bounded on the North by property of the

Housing Authority, 011 the South by property of Grace

Formosa and on the East by a public street.

ment Housing Estate, Gozo

(i) An area of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estate known as Plot No. l having an area of approximately

232 square metres bounded on the North-West b y a public

street, on the West by Għajn Qasab Road and on the East by

property of the HOllsing Authority;

(ii)

An area of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estate known as PIot No. 60 having an area of approximately

279 square metres bounded on the North by property of Mr

Peter Paul Grech, on the South by property of the Housing

Authority and on the West by a public street;

(iii)

An area of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estate known as PIot No. 69 having an area of approximately

251 square metres bounded on the North by Government
