Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No. 3) Order, 1980

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Housing

Authority Act, 1976, the President of Malta has made the following

order:-

This Order may be cited as the Housing Authority (Transfer of

Assets) (No. 3) Order, 1980.

The property described in paragraph 4 of this order is hereby

specified for the purposes of section 12 of the Housing Authority Act,

1976.

The property specified in paragraph 2 of this order shall be

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the section

aforesaid with effect from the 7 th day of November, 1980.

The property referred to in paragraph 2 of this order is the

following, that is to say

property.

(a) The following land forming part of the Fgura Govern ..

ment Housing Estate

(i) An area of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estate known as Plot No. 45 having an area of approximately

3 16 square metres bounded on the North and West by

Giacomo Matteotti Street and on the South by property of the

Housing Authority;

(ii) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 46 and 47 having an area of ap­

proximately 49 1 square metres bounded on the North partly

by Giacomo Matteotti Street and partly by Bastion Street, on

the South and West by Government property and on the East

by Bastion Street;

(iiD An area of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estate known as Plot No. 48 having an area of approximately

256 square metres bounded on the South by Mater Boni Con­

siglii Street, on the East by Government property and on the

NOlih-West by a public street;

(iv) An area of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estate known as Plot No. 49 having an area of approximately

245 square metres bounded on the South by Mater Boni

Consiglii Street, on the East by Bastion Street and on the West

by Government property.

(b) The fol1owing land forming part of the Gudja Govern­

ment Housing Estate

(i) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 33 to 40 and 57 to 62 having an

area of approximately 3403 square metres bounded on the

North and South by Government property and on the West

by a public street;

Estate known as Plots Nos. 10 to 15 having an area of appro­

ximately '1310 square metres bounded on the South, East and

West by Government property;

(ii) An area of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estate known as Plot No. 16 having an area of approximately

286 square metres bounded on the North, West and South by

Government property;

(iii) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 17, 18 and 19 having an area

of approximately 700 square metres bounded on the North,

West and South by Government property;

(iv) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 30 to 38, 41 , 107 to 118 having

an area of approximately 5040 square metres bounded on the

North and West by Governrnent property and on the East

partly by Government property and part1y by a public street;

(v) An area of land consisting of the plots in the said

Estate known as Plots Nos. 95 to 106 having an area of ap­

proximately 3100 square metres bounded on the North, South

and West by Government property,

(i) An area of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estate known as Plot No. 212 having an area of approximately

144.9 square metres bounded on the South by property of Mr

Carmelo Dingli, on the Bast by a public street and on the

West by property of Mr Ramon Xuereb;

(iD An area of land consisting of the plot in the said

Estate known as Plot No. 220 having an area of approxi­

mately 214 square metres bounded on the North by property

of Mr Ramon Xuereb and on the South and West by public

property;

(iiD An area of land consisting of the pl o t in the said

Estate known as Plot No. 236 having an area of approxi­

mately 156 square metres bounded on the North by property

of Mr Joseph Farrugia, on the South by a public street, and

on the West partly by property of Mr Joe Caruana Smith and

partly by public property.

(e) An area of land at the Ta' Xbiex Government Housing

Estate consisting of the plots in the said Estate known as Plots

Nos. 41 and 42 having an area of approximately 464 square metres

bounded on the North-West by property of Mr Salvino Testaferrata

Moroni Viani and on the South-West and South-Bast by Govern­

ment property.

(f) An area of land at Ta' Farżina Governrnent Housing Es­

tate, Qonni consisting of the plots in the said Estate known as PIots

Nos. 76 to 83 hav.ing an area approximately 2134 square rnetres

bounded on the NorthEast, North-West and South-Bast by Govern­

ment property.
