TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDINANCE (CAP.105)

Motor Vehicles (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1980

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Traffic

Regulation Ordinance, the Commissioner of Police, with the advice of

the Traffic Control Board, has made the fol1owing regulations:-

These regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Amend­

ment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1980, and shall be read and construed as one

with the Motor Vehicles Regulations, 1948, hereinafter referred to as

"the principal regulations".

Regu1ation 113A of the princip al regulations shall be amended

as follows

the present provision shall be re-numbered as paragraph

(a)

(1) thereof, and

(b)

immediately after paragraph (1 )

thereof there shall

be

added the following new paragra ph

"(2) No person shall drive any motor vehicle carrying

iron nets or rods unless these are secured in a manner where by

they wilI not cause damage, or be likely to cause damage to

the surface of the road.".
