Carriage of Goods by Sea (Exemption) Regulations, 1980

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Carriage

of Goods by Sea (Regulation) Act, 1980, the Minister of Development,

Energy, Port and Telecommunications has made the following regula­

tions:-

These regulations may be cited as the Carriage of Goods by

Sea (Exemption) Regulations. 1980.

The provisions of the Carriage of Goods by Sea (Regulation)

Act, 1980 shaB not apply to

bulk cargo;

goods landed at Malta for

oncarnage

or

transhipment

to

another country;

live stock;

fish from fishing vessels.
