Notarial Profession and Notarial Archives Act (Schedule)

(Amendment) Regulations, 1980

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by subsectian (2)

of

sectian 148 of the Notaf'ial Professian and Notarial Archives Act,

the Minister of Justice, Lands, Hausing and Parliamentary Affairs,

with the cancurrence of the Minister of Finance, Customs and

People's Financial Investments, has made the following regulations:-

l. (1) These regulatians may be cited as the N atarial Profes­

sion and Notarial Archives Aot

(Schedule) (Amendment) Regula­

tions, 1980, and shall be read and construed as one with the Schedule

annexed to the Notarial Profession and Notarial Archives Act, here­

inafter r e fe r r e d to as "the Schedule".

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into

force on the 1st day of January, 1980.

Part III of the Schedule a n d item 52 of that part shall be

re nurnber ed respectively Pa r t IV and item 53.

Immediately after Par t II of the Schedule there shall be

added the following new Part IlI

"Part III

Sections 111(5) and 148 (2)

Fees payable for Notarial Records

52. For the supervision and inspection of every deed

Notaries shall pay these fees at the end of the months

of March, June, September and December of each year, at

the same time giving to the Registrar of the Court of

Revision of N otarial Acts an indication of the progressive

numbers of the records for the quarterly period in respect

of which the payment is made.".
