Tħeatres (Prices of Admission) (Amendment) Regulathms, 1980

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 187 of th,� Code of

Poliee Laws, the Prime Minister has made the following regulntions:--

These regulations may be cited as the Theatres (Prices of

Admission) CAmendment) Regulations, 1980, and shall be read llnd

construed as one with the Theatres (Prices of Admission) Regu1ations,

1960, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

For the proviso to regulation 5 of the principal regnlations

there shaH be substituted the following

"Provided t h a t in respect of the cinematograph halls appearing

in the first column of th e Schedule to these regulations the

maximum admisison price shall be that shown in the second

column relative thereto

Provided further that in respect of cinematographic exhibi­

tions comm e nci n g on or after 2 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and

other Public Holidays. the said prices rnay be increased by not

rnore than 5e.".

3, Immediately after regulation 8 of the principal regulations

there shall be added the following Schedule:-
