MALTESE CITIZENSHIP ACT, 1965

Citizenship (Renunciation and Deprivation) (Amendment)

Regulations, 1980

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 18 of the Maltese

Citizenship Act, 1965, the President of Malta has made the folIowing

regulations

l. (l) These regulations may be cited as the Citizenship (Renun

cia t io n and Deprivation) (Amendment) Regulations, 1980, and shaH be

read and construed as one with the Citizenship (Renunciation and

Deprivation) Regulations, 1966, hereinafter referred to as "the princi

pal regulations".

These regulations shall come iuto force on the 1st August.
