Register of Applicants for EmpIoyment

(Par! Two) Order, 1980

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Employ­

ment Service Act, 1955, the Minister of Labour, Welfare and Culture,

after consult::ltion with the National Employment Board, has made the

following order:-

This Order may be cited as the Register of Applicants for Em­

ployment (Part Two) Order, 1980.

The c1asses o f persons who may register in Part Two of the

Register of Appl.icants for Employment shall be

(i) Maltese migrants who returned to Malta after the 2nd

May, 1977;

(iD

persons in gainful occupation;

GiD persons 'Nho, without a good and sufficient cause, termi­

nate empJoyment Of reject an opportunity of employment.

Each of LlJ.e classes of persons mentioned in sub-paragraphs (i) ,

(iD and (iii) of paragraph 2 of this order shall be registered in separate

sections of the Register.

The Register of Applicants for Employment (Part Two) Order,

1975 is hereby revoked.
