WATER SUPPLY ORDiNANCE (CAP. 36)

Water Supply (Amendment") Regulations, 1980

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Water

Supply Ordinance, the Minister of Works and Sport, with the con­

curtence of the Minister of Finance, Customs and People's Financial

Investments, has made the fol1owing regulations:-

These regulations may be cited as the Water Supply (Amend­

ment) Regulations, 1980, and shaH be read and construed as one with

the Water Supply Regulations, 1948, hereinafter referred to as "the

principal regulations".

For paragraph (b) of regulation 16 of the principal regulations

there shaH be substituted the following new paragraph:-

regulation 16 of

"(b)

non-potable water,

(i) for agricultural purposes, at the uniform rate of

25c per 1m3; and

(ii) for building or other purposes, at the uniform rate

of 40c per 1m3."
