ImportatRon (Control) (Amendment) Regulations, 1980

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Supplies

and Services Act, 1947, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Parastatal

and People's Industries has made the following regulations

(l) These regulations may be cited as the Importation

(Control) (Amendment) Regulations, 1980, and shaH be read and con­

strued as one with the Importation (Control) Regulations, 1969, herein­

after referred to 2S "the principal regulations".

(2) Th e s e regulations sha11 come into force on the day

immediately following the date of their publication in the Gazette.

Regulation 5 of the principal regulations is hereby revoked.

T he Schedule to the principal regulations is hereby revoked.
