Overseas Postal (Amendment) Regulations, 1980

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 1 of the Post

Office Act, 1975 the Minister of Development, Energy, Port and Tele··

communications, with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance,

Customs and People's Financial Investments, has made the following

regulations:-

(1) These regulations may be cited as the Overseas Posta1

(Amendment) Regulations, 1980, and sha11 be read and constmed as

one with the Overseas Postal Regulations, 1924, hereinafter referred to

as " the principal regu1ations".

(2) These regu1ations shaH come into force on the t we nty ­

fifth day of April, 1980.

For regulation 50 of the principal regulations there sha11

be

substituted the following:-

"50. The rates of poundage on British Postal OrcJers issued

in Malta shaH be the following:-

l OcO

For the face va1ue of 20p

15cO

For the face value from 25p to fl

20cO.".

For the face value from f2 to fl O
