CUSTOMS ORDINANCE (CAP. 60)

Customs (Amendment) Regulations, 1980

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 75 of the Customs

Ordinance, the Minister of Finance, Customs and People's Financial

Investments has made the following regu1ations:-

These regulations may be cited as the Customs (Amendment)

Regulations, 1980, and shall be read and construed as one with the

G.N. 486 of 1957 Customs Regulations,

1957, hereinafter referred to as "the principal

regulations" .

In sub-paragraph (b) of paragraph (4) of regulation 40 of the

principal regulations, for the words "at the current tariff rates for taxi­

cars" there shall be substituted the words "at the rate of 9c3 per kilo­

metre".

For paragraph (4) of regulation 42 of the principal regulations

there shall be substituted the following

"(4) The Cash Offices at the Customs Department shall be

c10sed one half of an hour before the midday break and one hour

before the final c10sing hour".
