CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT (REGULATION) ACT, 1952

HoteIs and Clubs Wages Council Wage Regulation

(Amendment) Order, 1980

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Conditions

of Emp10yment (Regu1ation) Act, 1952, the Minister of Labour, Welfare

and Culture having received proposals from the Hotels and Clubs

Wages Council concerning the conditions of employment of the

employees in relation to whom the said Wages Council operates, has

made the following order:-

l. ( 1 ) This order may be cited as the Hotels and Clubs Wages

Council Wage Regulation (Amendment) Order, 1980 and shall be

read and construed as one with the Hote1s and Clubs Wages Council

Wage Regulation Order, 1975 hereinafter referred to as "the principal

order".

(2)

This order shall come into force on the 7th April, 1980.

SCHEDULE

l. Immediately after sub-paragraph (c) of paragraph 6 of the

Schedule to the principal order there shall be added the following new

sub-paragraph

In the case of watchmen

"(d)

(i) for all time worked in excess of

ten hours on any one day ...

time-and-a-ha1f;

(ii) for all time worked on any day of

double-time.".
