CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT (REGULATION) ACT, 1952

Hotels and Clubs Wages Council (Amendment) Order, 1980

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Conditions

of Employment (Regulation) Act, 1952, the Minister of Labour, Welfare

and Culture, has made the following order:-

(l) This order may be cited as the Hotels and Clubs Wages

Council (Amendment) Order, 1980, and shall be read and construed as

one with the Hotels and Clubs Wages Council Order, 1955, hereinafter

referred to as "the principal order".

This order shall come into force on the 10th March, 1980.

For the words "hotels and clubs" in article 2 of the principal

order there shall be substituted the words "hotels, guest houses, holiday

complexes or tourist vi1lages, licensed holiday flats and clubs".

Immediately after paragraph (b) of article 3 of the principal

order there shall be added the following new paragraph

"(c) The terms "guest houses", "holiday complexes or tourist

villages", and "licensed holiday flats" have the same meaning as is

assigned to them by the Guest Houses and Holiday Furnished Pre­

mises Act, 1974.".
