Director of Audit (Revision of Salary) Order, 1980

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (l) of section

6 of the Financial Administration and Audit Act, 1962, he reina f te r

referred to as "the Act", the Prime Minister has made the fol1owing

order:-

This order may be cited as th e Director of Audit (Revision of

Salary) Order, 1980, and shaH have effect from the dates specified in

articIe 2 below.

Without prejudice to the proviso to subsection (l) of section

6 of the Act, there shaH be paid to the Director of Audit, instead of the

salary prescribed in that subsection, the salary of three thousand, four

hundred and fifty-two pounds with effect from l8th November, 1979.

three thousand, five hundred and fifty-six pounds with effect from l s t

January. 1980, a nd three thousand, six hundred and eight pounds with

effect from l st February, 1980.
