Fees (Tourism) (Amendment) Regulations, 1980

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Ministry

of Tourism Act, 1977, the Minister of Tourism has made the fol­

lowing regulations

These regulations may be cited as the Fees (Tourism)

(Amendment) Regulations, 1980 and shaH be read and construed

as one with the Fees (Tourism) Regulations, 1977, hereinafter referred

to as "the principal regula tions".

Regulation 3 of the principal regulations sha1l be amended

as follows:-

(a) in the proviso to paragraph (1) thereof for the words

"31st day of March" there shaH be substituted the words "31st

day of December"; and

(b) for paragraph (2) thereof there

shaH be

substituted

the following

"(2) The fee chargeable under paragraph (1) of this

regulation shall be payable in advance not later than the

31st day of March of the year for which the fee is due or,

where a new licence IS issued during the currency of any

year, not later than 15 days after the issue of such licence.".
