IMPORT DUTIES ACT, 1976

(ACT NO. XXV OF 1976)

Import Doties (Drawback on Exported Cigars)

(Amendment) Order, 1980

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Imporl

Duties Act, 1976, the Minister of Finance, Customs and People's

Financial Investments has made the fol1owing order

This order may be cited as the Import Duties (Drawback on

Malta Government Gazette — Legal Notice 1980 20 — Import Doties (Drawback on Exported Cigars)

Exported Cigars) (Amendment) Order, 1980, and shaB be read and

construed as one with the Import Duties (Drawback on Exported

Cigars) Order, 1977. hereinafter refened to as "the principal order".

In the Schedule to the principal order, for the figures "[1.77,0"

Amends Schedule

and ";(l.74,O" there shaH be substituted respectively the figures "[5.31 ,0"

and "[5.28,1".

Nothing in this order shall apply in respect of any unmanufac

tured tobacco or tobacco refuse imported or released from bond prior

to the 15th November, 1979.
