General Financial (Amendment) Regulations, 1980

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection ( l) of section 4

of the Financial Administration and Audit Act, 1962, the Minister of

Finance, Customs and People's Financial Investments has made the

fo:Iowing regulations:-

These regulations may be cited as the General Financial

(Amendment) Regulations, 1980 and shall be read and construed as one

with the General Financial Regulations, 1966, hereinafter referred to as

"the principal regulations".

For paragrapħ (2) of regulation 49 of the principal regulations,

there shall be substituted the foJlowing:-

"(2) Returns of arrears of revenue or abandoned claims shaH

be submitted as early as possible and in any case not later than the

31st Marcħ in eacħ year and shall include all amounts due for col­

lection on 31 st December but remaining unpaid up to the end of

the following January.".

In paragraph (3) of regulation 61 of the principal regulations

for the words "up to the 15th March" there shaH be substituted the

words "up to the 15th December".

In paragraph (i) of regulation 80 of the principal regulations,

for the figure "f50" there shaH be substituted f I 00",

In subsection (2) of regulation 101 of the principal regulations,

for the figure "f50" there shaH be substituted [ 1 00
