Beverages in Glass Containers and Consumption of Alcohol in

Public Places (San Ġiljan Local Council) (Amendment) Bye-Laws,

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 34 of the Local

Government Act, the San Ġiljan Local Council has made the following

Bye-Laws:-

The title of these Bye-Laws is Beverages in Glass Citation.

Containers and Consumption of Alcohol in Public Places (San Ġiljan

Local Council) (Amendment) Bye-Laws, 2019 and these shall be read

and construed as one with the Beverages in Glass Containers and S.L. 363.113.

Consumption of Alcohol in Public Places (San Ġiljan Local Council)

Bye-Laws, hereinafter referred to as "the principal Bye-Laws".

Bye-Law 2 of the principal Bye-Laws shall be amended as Amends Bye-

Law 2 of the

follows

principal Bye-

Laws.

(a) the definition "public place" thereof, shall be

substituted by the following new definition

" "public place" means all the streets within the San

Ġiljan locality;"; and

(b) the definition "streets" thereof, shall be substituted by

the following new definition

" "streets" means all the streets within the San Ġiljan

locality.".

Bye-Law 6 of the principal Bye-Laws shall be amended as Amends Bye-

Law 6 of the

follows

principal Bye-

Laws.

(a) the words "within any street or public place as

indicated in Schedule A" thereof, shall be substituted by the

words "within any street or public place in the locality"; and

(b) in paragraph (a) thereof, the words "Schedule B" shall

be substituted by the words "Schedule A".

Schedule A of the principal Bye-Laws shall be deleted.

Schedule B of the principal Bye-Laws shall be renumbered
