TRADE DESCRIPITONS

CHAPTER 313

TRADE DESCRIPTIONS ACT

To make provisions prohibiting misdescriptions of goods, services,

accommodation and facilities provided in the course of trade; to prohibit

false information or misleading indications as to the price of goods and for

other matters connected therewith or ancillary thereto.

1st September, 1986

ACT XXII of 1986 , as amended by Acts XXVIII of 1994 and XIX of

2000 ; Legal Notice 424 of 2007 ; and Act VI of 2011 .

Repealed by Act VI. 2014.12. - but see sub-article (2) thereof.
