ACT No. IV of 2024

AN ACT to amend the Criminal Code, Cap. 9.

BE IT ENACTED by the President, by and with the advice and

consent of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament

assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:-

The short title of this Act is the Criminal Code (Amendment) Short title.

Act, 2024 and this Act shall be read and construed as one with the

Criminal Code, hereinafter referred to as "the Code".

Sub-article (1) of article 604 of the Code shall be amended as Amendment of

article 604 of

follows

the Code.

(a) in the Maltese version only, immediately after the

word "is-surmastijiet" thereof there shall be added the words "u

l-għalliema"; and

(b) immediately after the word "University," thereof

there shall be added the words "headmasters and".

Passed by the House of Representatives at Sitting No. 202 of the

31st January, 2024.
