consent of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament

assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:-

The short title of this Act is the Code of Organization and Short title.

Civil Procedure (Amendment) Act, 2020 and this Act shall be read and

construed as one with the Code of Organization and Civil Procedure, Cap. 12.

Immediately after sub-article (3) of article 381 of the Code, Amendment of

article 381 of the

there shall be added the following new sub-article

Code.

"(4) Notwithstanding any provision in this Code or any

other law, when the debtor is an employer, the order shall not

attach upon any salary, wage (including bonus, allowances,

overtime and other emoluments) of the employees of the debtor

Provided that, the garnishee be formally notified in this

regard.".
