BE IT ENACTED by the President, by and with the advice and

consent of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament

assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:-

Art. 1 — ACT No. VI of 2019 AN ACT to amend the Employment and Industrial Relations Act, BE IT ENACTED by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:- Open official source

The short title of this Act is the Employment and Industrial Short title.

Relations (Amendment) Act, 2019, and this Act shall be read and

construed as one with the Employment and Industrial Relations Act,

hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act".

In article 2 of the principal Act, the definition "Director" Amendment of

article 2 of the

shall be substituted by the following

" "Director" means the Director General responsible for

Employment and Industrial Relations;".

Art. 3 Amendment of article 39 of the principal Act. — ACT No. VI of 2019 AN ACT to amend the Employment and Industrial Relations Act, BE IT ENACTED by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:- Open official source

In article 39 of the principal Act, the words "articles 36, 37

and 38" shall be substituted by the words "article 36".
