ACT No. XXVI of 2007

AN ACT to appropriate a sum not exceeding forty million, eight

hundred and twenty-nine thousand Maltese liri for the service of the

financial year 2007.

BE IT ENACTED by the President, by and with the advice and

consent of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament

assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows>—

This Act may be cited as the Second (2007) Appropriation

Act, 2007.

A sum not exceeding forty million, eight hundred and

twenty-eight thousand, nine hundred and eighty four Maltese liri

for the service of the financial year 2007 under the Votes specified in

the First Schedule to this Act shall be and the same is hereby charged

upon the Consolidated Fund.

A further sum not exceeding sixteen Maltese liri, to meet

expenditure in respect of the financial year 2007 under the Votes

specified in the Second Schedule to this Act shall be and the same is

hereby charged upon the Consolidated Fund, provided that such sum

shall be transferred to the Contingencies Fund in replacement of

withdrawals made out of this Fund to cover the services detailed in

regard to such Votes in the Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure

for the financial year 2007.
