AN ACT to amend th e Import Duties ACI. Cap. 337.

BE IT ENACI'ED by tbe President, by and with tbe advice and

consent of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament

assembled , and by the authority o f the same , as foUows:-

( I) This Act may be cited as the Impon Duties

(Amendment) Act, 1995, and shall be read and construed as o nc with

the Impon Duties Act, hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act".

(2) The provisions of this Act shall be deemed to have come

into forre o n the 23rd Novembe r , 1994.

Schedule to the principal Act fo r the words " Lm24.20,O" where they

appear, the re shall be substituted th e wo rds " Lm28.25,O".

Pursuant to section 12A of the principal Act, the new duty or

increased rate of duly leviable in accordance with this Act, shall be

leviable on any goods in relation 10 whieh a perfect bill of e ntry bas been

made but have not been released up to the time of the issue by the

President of the re lati ve Proclamation under tbe Revenue Safeguard

Act, relative to tbis Act.
