BE IT ENACI EO by the President, by and with the advice and

consent of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament

assembled, and by the authority of the same, as foUows:-

Art. 1 — AN ACT to amend the Housing Act, Cap. 125. Open official source

This Act may be cited as the Housing (Amendment) Act,

1995, and shall be read and construed as one with the Housing Act as Cap. 125.

For section 21 of the principal Act there shall be substituted

the following section

21 . With effect from the 1st March, J995.the Oi.rec-

tor of Social Housing may not requisition any premises

under section 3 of this Act

Provided that the provisions of this Act and of

Notwithstanding the provision of the principal Act as in force

before the coming in force of this Act and of the Housing (Extension)
