BE IT ENACTED by the President. by and with the advio:: and

oonscnl of the HolISC of Representatives, in this preKnI Parliament

3S$embled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

(I) This Act may be cited as 1he Public Meetings (Amend-

In section 3 of tbe principal law ;

(.) for tbe words ~ Every ci tizen of Malta po'.ruing lbe

qualifications required by law 10 be a voter" there shall be

substituted the words ~Every pel'SOll over the .ge of eighteen years

of age and every association of sueb persons";

(b) for the words "he gives notice therrof in writing" there

shall be substituted the words " 00IK:e thereof in writing is given".

For section 4 of the principal law Ibere shall be substituted !be

Section 5 of the princip.ollaw shall be amended as follows;

(a) in SI·'-ction (2) thereof immediately after the words

"specifying the name of the pelWn" there shall be added the words

(b) in subsection (3) thereof inunediatdy aher the words

Section 8 of the principal la ... shall be amended as folloW$

amended as follows
