asg mbled. and by the authority of the sa me, as follows: -

I. This Act may be cited 11 the Preyc ntion of Disease Sbortti ... .

(Amendment) Act , 1992, and shaLl be read and (X)IUtrued as one with

the Preyention of DiseISC OrdinallOC, l\e reinafter referred to as Kthe

principal Law~.

Section 2 of thc principal ]aw sha U be amended as follows

(a) for the interpretation of the word Manimals there shall priDOpoI ......

be substituted the fol]owing

(b) for the second definitioo of "disease" immediately

" "disease" (as used in Pan 11 of this Ordinance) means any

disease of an infectious or con tagious nature, and includes the

presence of parasitic animals or plants which attach
